Government sells north west Sydney site
Sydney Metro has sold a development site beside Tallawong station.
The government is banking a speculated $27 million from the 4.78 hectare tract going by both a Schofields Road and Themeda Avenue address.
The bulk is zoned B6 Enterprise, allowing a variety of commercial projects including bulky goods, offices and convenience retail, including fast food restaurants.
It also allows for a hotel.
The balance – a sliver – is zoned Industrial 1.
The land is near the Rouse Hill Town Centre, set to be expanded, and the proposed Rouse Hill Hospital.
Knight Frank’s James Reeves, Orlando Maciel and Mark Litwin were the marketing agents.
