GMH to consolidate in Dandenong South
EXCLUSIVE
General Motors Holden Australia and New Zealand will consolidate it local operations to a recently completed warehouse at Dandenong South – a pocket it is familiar with having decades ago manufactured there.
The 26,900 square metre facility, warehouse 1A, 48 Assembly Drive (marked, image, top), will now be delivered by Aliro Group on behalf of the Aliro Group Industrial Vehicle.
Completion of the fit-out is scheduled in the third quarter.
The asset will include 840 sqm of A-grade offices over two floors, a 100 sqm dock office and end of trip facilities.
The warehouse will be accessed via several recessed docks (story continues below).
GMH ceased manufacturing cars in Australia eight years ago after over a century and stopped selling Holdens here in 2020.
It does however control in Australia Isuzu and last year started importing Cadillacs.
CBRE’s David Aiello and Sasan Misaghian brokered the Dandenong South deal.
The agents are marketing a warehouse sharing the same roof (1B), with 25,940 sqm (including 770 sqm of offices, which could be expanded into a neighbouring 2.8ha block, also for lease.
