Gina Riley sells home after 10 months
Gina Riley has sold an Armadale home for $650,000 more than she paid 10 months ago
An observer at last Saturday’s auction of the Mercer Road dwelling said bidding intensified after $4.6 million – the reserve.
A $100,000 knock-out bid by an as yet undisclosed identity ended the competition – the price was $5.1m.
Castran Gilbert director Paul Castran was the agent.
Ms Riley, co-creator of Kath & Kim, with television producer husband Rick McKenna spent $4.45m for the property last year.
The performer recently signed a deal to produce a fourth series of the show.
