Ex-Melbourne IVF HQ sold
Henkell Brothers has sold a prominent city fringe building for years until May home to Melbourne IVF.
The three level, 2444 square metre office with 23 car parks at 338-334 Victoria Parade, East Melbourne – next to the Epworth Freemasons – is trading for c$13.25 million.
The buyer is a local private investor. The deal prices the land at $12,914 per sqm.
Henkell paid the late Richard Pratt $2.9m in 1995, soon after it was developed.
Now for lease
Melbourne IVF relocated to an uber-green office recently completed by Hines at 36 Wellington Street, Collingwood.
CBRE’s Mark Granter, Sandro Peluso, Nick Peden and Jamus Campbell brokered the East Melbourne sale.
The same agency is now marketing the building for lease.
“This location…sits at the epicentre of Melbourne’s premier healthcare precinct surrounded by leading institutions such as Epworth, the maternity hospital, Epworth Freemasons, the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and the newly established oncology centre on Albert St,” Mr Peluso said.
