EVT sells Rydges Geelong

The 4-star Rydges sold for $24.5 million.

ASX-listed EVT – formerly Event & Hospitality Management – has settled on the sale of a high-profile Geelong hotel.

The 148-room, 4-star Rydges will continue to operate under a franchise agreement after being offered with vacant possession.

Also with a restaurant, bar, pool, gym and six events spaces, it fetched $24.5 million from an investor.

At 89-105 Gheringhap Street, also exposed to Myers and Little Myers streets, and Winchester Place, spreads 5991 square metre with development upside (continues below).

Deakin University this week sold Geelong’s T&G Mutual Life building.

JLL’s Peter Harper and Nick MacFie were the agents.

Also this week Deakin University sold Geelong’s historic T&G Building after 12 years when it was repurposed for student accommodation.
