Event hire group signs west Melbourne industrial lease
An event hire business which services the Australian Open, Australian Grand Prix and AFL Gather Round, has signed a major industrial lease with Stockland.

Dann Event Hire committed to 77 Millers Road, Brooklyn, for an initial 6.5 years.
The 10,700 square metre facility – years ago an Isuzu distribution centre – forms part of the 22 hectare Brooklyn Industrial Park.
The business is expected to relocate from another base in the suburb at 1 Cawley Road, opposite a parcel Centuria just bought for a data centre.
Coincidentally, Stockland this month announced plans to replace just under half the Brooklyn Industrial Park with a data centre.
Stockland asset
Brooklyn is about 10 kilometres west of Melbourne’s CBD.
“The…facility will support the group’s Victorian and interstate operations as it expands its national footprint,” Colliers’ Nick Saunders, who represented Stockland, said (continues below).
“Demand for industrial assets between 10,000-15,000 sqm remains strong despite broader economic caution,” he added.
“This lease highlights [that] sustained depth…where vacancy remains tight,” according to the executive.
“Occupier demand in this size bracket remains particularly strong, driven by businesses that need both scale and proximity to central Melbourne and key arterial networks.
“Brooklyn and the broader inner west continue to outperform given their infill characteristics and connectivity.
“With vacancy across Melbourne’s west sitting just above three per cent, assets of this scale and quality are increasingly difficult to secure”.
Dann Event Hire director Nick Gulino said the deal keeps the business close to key networks and an existing client base.
