ESR, Up secure major industrial tenants
JOST Australia – a subsidiary of Germany’s JOST-Werke – will relocate its local headquarters within Melbourne’s west.
The supplier of products for the transport sector has committed to 1/127 Cherry Lane, Laverton North (pictured, top) – a 14,933 square metre office/warehouse – being delivered by ESR Australia.

“JOST Australia faced the unique challenge of incorporating specialised fitout requirement into a suitable property solution,” CBRE leasing agent, Tony Tripodi, said.
“After considering existing speculative and pre-lease options, [it was] identified that integrating these needs into a speculative development site offered the most efficient and cost-effective outcome,” he added.
“Through diligent upfront planning, the creation of a clear design brief outlining JOST’s specific requirements and a proactive strategy…JOST [was] effectively guided…to achieve their optimal property solution,” according to the executive.
JOST is presently based locally at Derrimut.
Meanwhile Clik Collective has committed to 7500 sqm – just over half – of Up Property’s BigFoot Industrial Park at 40-44 Robbs Road, West Footscray.
The office and warehouse cowork space provider, designed specifically for e-commerce businesses, will occupy three tenancies, D, E and F – the project’s only three warehouses – for amongst other things, last mile logistics and storage.
Clik also rents within Up Property’s Morris Moor at Moorabbin, across town.
Centuria, Salta seal smaller deals
Several smaller industrial lease deals have also been sealed this month.
At Keysborough, Centuria secured pet treat wholesaler APTCO to a 4607 sqm office/warehouse – Building 5, 102-128 Bridge Rd, part of the KeyPoint Industrial Estate.
In Melbourne, APTCO is currently based at Moorabbin.
Colliers’ Luke Lowden and Sam Hibbins brokered the latest deal.
Finally, Salta has found six tenants for 5595 sqm at its Gateway (or Gateway@Port) light industrial precinct at Port Melbourne.
Artrex, Service Stream and C20 Group are amongst the occupiers of the estate, with 19 recently constructed/speculative buildings.
CBRE and Lemon Baxer are the leasing agencies.
