McGuire, Buckley become Toorak neighbours
Collingwood captain Nathan Buckley and president, also Channel Nine chief executive, Eddie McGuire, now share more than their love of the black-and-white jersey – they also enjoy a Toorak address.
The sportsman has picked up a five-bedroom house on 1200 square metres in the suburb, spending $3.93 million.
The home is a not far from that of the executive.
Despite being a Sydneysider now, well-placed sources say Mr McGuire appears in no rush to sell his Toorak pile.
“I don’t think he knows himself what he is going to do with the property,” says a source.
“He’s been busy and hasn’t applied himself to think about a sale”.
