Designer drops $10m for HQ, showroom

Austrian wine glass designer, Riedel, has quietly purchased a prominent North Sydney building, outlaying $10.3 million.

At 1 West Street, on the south east corner of the Pacific highway, the two level property will be occupied as a headquarters and showroom.

All up the lettable area is close to 1000 square metres.

There are 13 basement car parks too.

The site, also known as 267 Pacific Hwy, spreads 410 sqm.

Lowry Property Group’s Nick Lowry was the agent.

The corner building will be occupied as a showroom and headquarters.

The property previously traded in mid-2021, for $6.12m.

That seller was Mentor 1, which also occupied, nearly 10 years.

Costi Cohen’s Zack Harkins acted for Riedel which will relocate its local headquarters from 32 Walker St, North Sydney – owned by EG’s Australian Core Enhanced, or ACE, fund.
