David Bromley lists two renovated homes in Victoria’s Spa Country
Artist David Bromley and his wife, Yuge, a fashion designer, are selling two renovated homes just out of Melbourne.
In Daylesford, a holding across 2500 square metres on Ballan Daylesford Road, is for sale asking $850,000.
The residence is configured with three living and dining areas, a two-room kitchen, two bathrooms and two bedrooms. It also includes a garage, vegetable patch and studio with the potential to be self-contained accommodation.
This home, about 110 kilometres north-east from the CBD, cost the vendors $550,000 just over a year ago.
Four kilometres north again, in Hepburn Springs, the pair have listed a three bedroom home for $650,000.
On an elevated 823 sqm block, the Main Road home, which cost the Bromleys $400,000 in 2016, has “seventies spaciousness” – according to the advertisement.
Split level, it includes three bedrooms – two of which are connected by a “hidden link”.
The home’s living area offers views to Mount Franklin and Hepburn Regional Park. It is surrounded by a series of “outdoor living centres” in the garden.
McQueen Real Estate director Kim McQueen is marketing both properties to full time residents, holiday home seekers, investors, or those seeking a unique accommodation venue.
Buyers will have the option to acquire artworks currently furnished throughout the homes.
Last year, the Bromleys sold historic Daylesford home Wyuna for about $1.7 million. The couple bought the 13-bedroom former boarding house and aged care facility sight-unseen in 2012 for $750,000 before undertaking a renovation.
