Cherryvale Estate to be sold

Former Willis Management Consultants managing director Bob Willis and his wife Mary are selling Mornington Peninsula’s Cherryvale.

The Tuscan inspired residence on 2.8 hectares in Red Hill South was designed by Frank Flannery.

The holding contains a cherry orchard, a lake stocked with rainbow trout, rotunda and organic fruit, herb and vegetable garden.

It also has views to Western Port and Phillip Island.

Inside there is a gourmet kitchen, library and master bedroom with a spa under a glass atrium.

Ms Willis’ Italian background influenced the style.

An adjoining 6000 square metre tract on a separate title will be offered for sale later; it also has bay views and orchard.

Kay & Burton Flinders sales executive Prue McLaughlin will auction Cherryvale at 233 Red Hill Road, on Sunday, April 15.

It is expected to sell for more than $4m.

The land has a c$700,000 guide.
