Campbelltown mall sold after six decades

The Highbury Hotel and Dan Murphy’s, which Charter Hall purchased last month.

A Campbelltown shopping centre with development upside has traded between private investors.

With a supermarket tenancy – leased to Romeo’s Food Hall IGA – six specialty stores and an undeveloped portion of land, the $11 million price for 610 Lower North East Road reflects a five per cent yield.

Savills’ Rino Carpinelli and Ryan Mills brokered the off market deal.

The vendors built the asset over 60 years ago (story continues below).

The property is about five kilometres from Highbury Hotel and adjoining Dan Murphy’s, which Charter Hall acquired last month for $29m – a 5.27pc return.
