Calibre Clothing Founder Sells Another South Yarra Development Site

The Woods Accident Repair Centre property, at 18 Yarra Street, opposite the train line and near Melbourne High School, has sold for $3.4million after an expression-of-interest campaign.

The 604-square-metre site was expected to arouse interest from residential developers keen to build a medium or high-density project, with city views over the train line that cannot be built out. Teska Carson director Michael Ludski marketed the 18 Yarra Street property with Gross Waddell’s Andrew Greenway and Andrew Waddell.

In 2006, Mr Zecevic sold the Salt Nightclub property in South Yarra to developer Pelorus Property Group for $3 million.

Last year he sold another building in Claremont Street for $8 million.

That 1000-square-metre site is also earmarked for a residential redevelopment.
