Brett Blundy relists Rose Bay mansion with mid-$40m price hopes
BRW Rich Lister Brett Blundy has relisted his contemporary Sydney waterfront mansion with mid-$40 million price hopes.
The entrepreneur – who retains a sophisticated commercial property portfolio and BB Retail Capital – which has an interest in numerous businesses including retailer Bras n’Things – has appointed agencies Knight Frank and Pillinger to market the home, which occupies a 1040 square metre plot with a 32-metre frontage to the Hermitage Reserve.
David Walker and Peter Janks designed the home which was on the market with a different agency last year. The interiors were fitted by Hare + Klein.
Configured with five bedrooms, four bathrooms, three living rooms and a basement eight-car garage with a car wash, the dwelling includes a lower level entertainment area with a home theatre room, study, gym, and second self-contained living area with a kitchen.
All floors are accessed via a lift.
The property’s postcard views over the sand and Rose Bay capture the Sydney CBD skyline, Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
Knight Frank’s Deborah Cullen and Pillinger’s Brad Pillinger are representing Blundy, who is reported to have a net worth of about $1.4 billion. Number 19 Bayview Hill Road is for private sale.
