Billionaires trade eastern suburb office

John Symond has settled on the sale of an east Sydney office held four years.

The Aussie Home Loans founder is banking $26.5 million for Piccadilly Court at 356-366 New South Head Road, Double Bay (pictured, top).

Another billionaire, Air Trunk founder Robin Khuda, with his wife, Melea Walker-Khuda, are the buyers, alongside Pioneer Credit managing director John Keith.

Mr Symond via Symond Family Investments paid $21m in March, 2021, then obtained a permit for an extension.

The off-market disposal was formalised in July.

The executive also once owned a retail asset in the suburb’s Transvaal Avenue.

When in Australia, Mr Symond lives in Point Piper – a dramatic, multi-level mansion with spectacular CBD and Opera House views, temporarily listed for sale mid-last year.
