Restaurateurs sell Williamstown waterfront for c$5.4m

The waterfront Williamstown home owned by restaurateurs Philip and Marilyn Elg may have set a record for land rates west of Melbourne, after selling for a rumoured $5.4 million.

The property was offered permit-ready for a 400 square metre new dwelling and three townhouses.

On The Strand, it spreads a 1350 square metres, and also has laneway access.

The vendors were represented by Colliers International’s Simon Cleal and Sweeney’s Wayne Sweeney, who were unavailable.
