Best in Queensland Real Estate, Celebrated at REIQ Awards Night
More than 400 people attended the REIQ’s gala annual event – Celebrating Real Estate – at the Brisbane Hilton grand ballroom to help congratulate the finalists and winners in each of the awards’ 12 categories.
REIQ managing director Dan Molloy said the winners represented the highest standards of business practice in Queensland.
"Each and every one of them continues to enhance the professionalism of our industry, their agencies, and themselves as individuals. They are the leaders of real estate practice in our State," Mr Molloy said.
This year’s awards were expanded to better reflect the industry’s diversity with a number of commercial categories as well as a community service award now available. The 2008 awards also attracted a record number of nominations across the 12 categories.
"The REIQ awards are not about having the most number of properties sold, or the highest dollar value. The award criterion relates to commitment to quality customer service, significant achievements, how success has been achieved, and any innovative methods used to realise personal and business objectives," Mr Molloy said.
