BBC Studios ANZ to shift HQ

Blue & William reached practical completion in April.

The Australian and New Zealand arm of the British Broadcasting Corporation will switch headquarters within Sydney’s north.

BBC Studios has leased 1800 square metres – the third floor – of the 10 level, A-grade office at 2-4 Blue Street, at the north east corner of William, North Sydney.

Keppel REIT Management is the landlord after acquiring it on a funds through basis in late 2021.

That seller, Lendlease, flipped it after snaring it from Third.i.Group and Phoenix Property Investors following an off-market deal.

Lendlease remained responsible for the leasing as well as the building delivery.

Branded Blue & William, practical completion was achieved seven months ago (story continues below).

BBC Studios ANZ will upgrade from a McMahons Point office.

Inland move

BBC Studios ANZ will relocate from 35-51 Mitchell St, McMahons Point – an office once occupied by Pacific Magazines – about 800 metres south of Blue & William.

With the deal, Lendlease and Keppel have filled 80 per cent of the 14,122 sqm of lettable area; other occupiers include Equifax, Human Synergistics, Pacific National and Ventia – the latter which committed to the top two floors in February.

The investment is also designed with end of trip facilities, a wellness garden and balconies offering Sydney Harbour Views. A 5-star Green Star Design and As Built Rating and 5.5-star NABERS score is also being chased.
