Austrak expands Port Adelaide footprint…again

Austrak has bought another site to expand the Port Adelaide Business Park.

The Melbourne developer and investor paid $8.03 million including GST for the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service approved grain and pulse processing plant at 58-64 Ocean Steamers Road, Port Adelaide.
Abutting a rail line, the 1.12 hectare parcel has 2451 square metres of improvements.
Browntree Trading was the vendor and former occupier.
The property is registered to trade Chinese goods.
Austrak reweighs
The deal comes five months since we reported Austrak paid $21.56m including GST for a neighbouring eight hectare parcel.
Renewal SA was that seller.
Port Adelaide Business Park occupiers including Santos and Visy.
Austrak also owns a business park in Sydney’s Minto.
Last year it sold a 99ha industrial estate co-owned with GPT, in Melbourne’s north Somerton, to Aware Super, for $600m.
