Dan Murphy’s sold with a leaseback

Endeavour sold a Mount Barker outlet in April.

Endeavour Group has sold a five year old Dan Murphy’s with a leaseback.

Fabcot developed the Batemans Bay store in 2020.

A Victorian private investor paid $9.4 million for the 3885 square metre Batemans Bay asset following an off-market deal.

With a 1343 sqm outlet, it replaced a Clyde Auto Centre, with dealerships for Isuzu, Mazda, Mitsubishi and Suzuki.

Savills’ Steven Lerche and Matt Holland were the agents.

The deal comes six months since Endeavour sold a Mount Barker outlet with a leaseback.

57-61 Orient Street

Also with 63 car parks and two EV charging stations, 57-61 Orient Street was offered with a 10 year lease.

The Orient Street outlet contains 1343 square metres.

With eight options, each of five years, Endeavour can stay until 2075.

The ASX listed group was demerged in 2021 from Woolworths, which via its development arm, Fabcot, was the builder.

Fabcot recently sold the property to the north (55 Orient St).

It offloaded the holding to the south (63 Orient St) in 2008 to the St Vincent de Paul Society of NSW.

Batemans Bay is about a 150 kilometre drive east of Canberra.
