Moller’s Caravan Park, Inverloch, Sells to Developers For $6 Million

Moller’s is the latest in a string of high profile caravan parks to be sold to developers, which capitalise on their prime locations with higher density proposals.
 
In 2007, developer Bourskope paid $2.1 million for the 6,131 square metre Portsea Caravan Park, well inland from the water, which it announced it would redevelop into townhouses.  At about the same time Woolworths purchased the Boomerang Caravan Park in Cowes, Phillip Island, which it plans to redevelop into a $20 million shopping centre.
 
In 2003, the development company of former Footscray Richmond Football Club president Clinton Casey, paid $12.5 million for the former Zeally Bay Caravan Park, which has made way for a luxury resort, townhouses and apartments.
