Wallan Development Site Sells For $14 Million

About 60 kilometres north of the CBD, Wallan, near Kilmore, is one of several outer regions to have recorded a population rise in recent years.

Major residential developments are proposed in Beveridge and Kalkallo – townships between Wallan, and the suburb currently considered the outer northern limit of metropolitan Melbourne: Craigieburn.

CVA director Anthony Carbone marketed the former farmland site at 165 Rowes Lane, Wallan, for private owners. He declined to comment on details including buyer, or price, but said developer demand for residential land is continuing to strengthen.

Elsewhere in Melbourne, Oracle Estates is working with Queensland-based developer Devine Limited, on a 25-hectare Pakenham site into a $110 million, 365-lot village, Fallingwater.
