Vacant Balwyn office fetches $6.6 million

An investor who may part-occupy has paid $6.58 million for 317-321 Whitehorse Road, Balwyn.

A vacant office within a popular Balwyn retail strip sold this week for $6.58 million.

The incoming owner of 317-321 Whitehorse Road (pictured, top and left) is an investor who may part-occupy.

The 1005 square metre double-storey building, atop a 31 bay basement car park, sits on an 801 sqm block zoned Commercial 1, about 10 kilometres east of the Melbourne CBD.

Teska Carson’s Michael Taylor and Gideon Marcus marketed the property via an expressions of interest campaign which closed on November 22.

In October we reported that the building next door sold to a Chinese investor for $7.3 million.

On a 717 square metre site also zoned Commercial 1, 313-315 Whitehorse Road, Balwyn, includes a 701 sqm office and retail building which was fully-let and returning annual rent of $416,878.
