Franciscan Order sells Uniting Care Campbelltown development site for $17m-plus

Uniting Care is paying the Franciscan Order of Friars Minor more than $17 million for a 6.6 hectare Campbelltown site within the recently rezoned and master-planned Maryfields Estate.

Part of the property at 192 Narellan Road can be subdivided into a 500 house lots.

A 200-bed aged care complex is also earmarked as is a business precinct.

Colliers International’s Matthew Meynell and Shalain Singh, representing the vendor, said they worked closely with property advisory firm Innova Capital to drive the land rezoning of the enormous Franciscan Order parcel (story continues below).

Campbelltown is 53 kilometres south west of Sydney.

“In close proximity to retail hubs, public transport, lifestyle and medical amenities, the site as well as the larger master-plan, provides a crucial business, and wellness hub within the area, which is located within a key growth corridor,” the agents added.

Another part of the recently rezoned and master-planned Franciscan Order site – spreading 12.7 hectares – which is for sale.
