Tree Change for Australand Executive

“I rang up to buy a block of land on the lake,” Andrew says. “But after chatting to Brian Keenan, the owner of the agency, who I’d dealt with before, I ended up buying the real estate business.”

Andrew is responsible for marketing large scale residential projects such as Freshwater Place in Southbank and the Commonweath Games Village in Parkville,. He quits his post with Australand next Friday. Mandy, who built her career in television advertising has already stopped working.

It is not known yet how pampered pooch Paris will cope with the change. Up to now, she’s had full run of the Shell’s outgoing property at 71 Balwyn Road in Balwyn.

The near-new Gothic style home includes four bedrooms, two studies, formal and informal living areas and a double garage. It is wedged between the Canterbury train station and Maling Road shops at one end of the street, and the Whitehorse Road tram at the other.

Fletcher’s real estate’s David Taylor is selling the property by auction on Saturday November 10 at 1pm. He expects it to fetch more than $1.65 million.
