The co-host of Channel Nine’s breakfast show Today, Georgie Gardner (pictured, top), has sold her home in Sydney’s Artarmon for $4.2 million.

Ms Gardner and husband, investment banker Tim Baker, paid $1.95 million for the property in 2010 before undertaking a renovation and extension.

The c1925 house, about nine kilometres north-west of the CBD, sits on an approximate 800 square metre plot with a pool.

The 48-year old journalist, reported by website dailymail.co.uk to be earning an annual salary of about $1 million, is now speculated be house-hunting in the city’s ritzy Mosman, with a budget of about $6 million.

Mosman is home to Ms Gardner’s co-host, Karl Stefanovic, who rents a home near the Taronga Zoo reported in this item, again by dailymail.co.uk, to be worth about $7 million.
