Terri Irwin Offloads Part of Property Portfolio

Terri has also reportedly sold a $1.3 million luxury property, at a $380,000 loss, in Minyama, in the Sunshine Coast.

Last year, she completed a land swap with the State government – handing over a 200 hectare parcel at Mt Beerwah, in exchange for state forest, to the south of the zoo, which it can now consider, for any expansion. According to the Courier Mail, Australia Zoo expansion plans are now on hold.

The major projects under construction at the zoo include the partly-constructed Madagascar Island, and an Africa exhibit which would feature a rhinoceros and giraffes already imported. A $100 million African Safari Resort with roaming animals is also reportedly on hold.
