]]> Knight Frank director Clinton Baxter, who is marketing retail shops within Curtin House, said Time Warner television programming subsidiary Home Box Office (HBO) held a party at the building for its production staff both in Australia and in the United States.

The party didn’t affect sale results though, according to Mr Baxter. With partner Langton McHarg he sold a 75 square metre shop in the building to a private investor for $2.3 million, on a yield of 4.5 per cent.

He expects a second shop, going to auction next Friday, to attract similar strong buyer interest.
