This time in the city fringe, Foxtel is leaving its 10-year home at 47 City Road, Southbank and relocating to part of the former Channel Seven headquarters at the north-west corner of Dodds and Dorcas streets in South Melbourne.

Channel Seven, like rival Nine, have relocated many production functions to Docklands. Its former Dorcas Street headquarters is being part being developed as an apartment village.
]]> Pat Burke and Michael Pound of MP Burke Commercial are now leasing the former Foxtel FoxSports Building. The creative space was is configured as office space, and a studio. Football focused television show On The Couch was produced at the City Road site which also includes parking for about 10 cars. The fitted office also includes a backup generator.

The 1200 square metre space is expected to rent for about $210,000 per annum net, which includes signage rites. The building is diagonally opposite the landmark Eureka Tower.

Foxtel also operates from a prominent office building in the north-west suburb of Moonee Ponds.

Elsewhere in Melbourne, News Limited is expected to announce plans for a new headquarters, consolidating Herald Sun employed staff currently in Southbank, and members of the leader group in the eastern suburb of Blackburn.

The undisclosed rent is speculated at about $300 per square metre, per annum.

In June, Dexus Property Group announced plans for a $26 million refurbishment of its Southgate restaurant and retail complex, which is accessible to 60 City Road via a walkway.
