The 6712 square metre, Residential 1 zoned block at 1213 – 1217 Centre Road on the north-east corner of Huntingdale Road, in Oakleigh South, was until recently known as the Clarinda Centre For The Aged.

Next door to a former quarry, the site is expected to make way for a medium density apartment project, but was not sold with a permit.
]]> Near revered Sandbelt golf courses including the Metropolitan, Commonwealth and Yarra Yarra golf clubs, the site is a short drive from the Huntingdale and Clayton train stations, Clayton Road shops and Monash Medical Centre.

Knight Frank’s Ken Smirk sold the site with Chris Tsolis.

Not far away, at a site abutting the Glen Waverley train station, a 10-level, 116-unit project called Ikon sold out within hours of hitting the market last April. That project will be developed on land controlled by government agency VicTrack
