“The impending sale was in line with the fund’s long-term strategy to realise returns for investors by selling the asset before the fund ends in August next year,” a Colonial spokesperson told the AFR. “We’re now seeing domestic and offshore investor groups actively looking to invest in scarcely traded premium office space, and they view the Sydney office market as an attractive sector for investment.”

“We’re experiencing strong enquiry levels from offshore funds, in particular out of Germany, Korea and Singapore.”
