Reliable Plumbing leases Port Melbourne office two weeks after it hit the market

Reliable Plumbing has rented a renovated office warehouse in Port Melbourne’s valuable industrial precinct.

The deal for the 854 square metre building at 1/177 Salmon Street was sealed within two weeks of CBRE agents Guy Naselli, Jake George and Ben Quennell launching a leasing campaign.

The 854 square metre property contains a 524 sqm office.

The dark glass building was formerly occupied by Cube Networks which has relocated.

Reliable Plumbing is paying starting annual rent of $230 per square metre. Its five year agreement has renewal options.

The property comprises a 524 square metre office with a modern fit-out  and configured with a boardroom, executive offices and break-out areas.

It also includes storage facility, roller door access to the warehouse and 21 car parks.

Port Melbourne is becoming a hub for construction-based businesses, Mr Naselli said.

“The tenant was attracted to the building’s location and proximity to major arterials which suited its business operations”.

Mr Quennell said that onsite car parking was also an attractive feature as more businesses move into the area.

The property at 1/177 Salmon Street is near the recently vacated General Motors Holden factory which the state government acquired in 2016 for $130 million with the view to re-creating it as a major high-tech employment hub.
