REIV Survey reveals buyer’s preferences

“Sellers will need to consider water and energy saving features if they want to maximize the interest in their property.

“Victorians understand the impact that their homes and lifestyles have on the environment and are prepared to use what is often their biggest asset to make a positive impact.

“It won’t be long before we will see energy saving features included on sale boards Along with the other features of the property.

The survey also ranked the most important property characteristics amongst buyers with location and proximity to facilities such as shops, transport and parkland being more important to buyers than the size of the land or number of bedrooms,” Mr Raimondo said.
