Pinnacle Health Clubs leases at Salta Properties’ Nexus Corporate Park

Pinnacle Health Clubs has leased a space at Salta Properties’ Nexus Corporate Park in Melbourne’s south east.

The gym, which operates on that side of the city also at the Caribbean Business Park, Parkdale, Scoresby and Upwey, will rent 630 square metres at 1 Nexus Court, Mulgrave (pictured, top).

The 10-year deal was negotiated by CBRE’s office leasing director Elise Betts.

Following its move to Nexus, Pinnacle Health Club will control about 7830 sqm of space in the south-east.

The Nexus business park includes a roof top basketball court.

Pinnacle founder Ben Stallworthy said it was “an easy decision” to rent at Nexus. The business is already seeking members.

“The deal will allow us to launch a holistic, full-service health club to complement the park’s world-class facilities,” Mr Stallworthy said. “We are extremely excited to grow to a further location and have the opportunity to inspire and educate the local community”.

A Salta spokesperson said the addition of a premium health club would complement the existing amenity at Nexus Corporate Park – which offers “high-quality office accommodation, focused on innovative design and sustainability”.

Ms Betts said Nexus already had three food and beverage offerings, a child care centre and roof top basketball court.

“Business park owners and developers have identified that increased amenity is key to securing new lease commitments in the suburban office market.

“A gym/wellness offering is becoming a ‘must have’ for suburban business parks, given the war for talent and the benchmarks that occupiers need to meet to attract and retain top talent”.

In June we reported that Salta has secured France’s Haulotte to a 3550 sqm office/warehouse, with 5300 sqm of hardstand, at the Nexus estate.
