NSW Public Housing Waiting List Grows

The report said 47,413 people are on waiting lists for accommodation in NSW, of which 3200 applicants are classified as having “great need.”

Almost 7,000 of the 118,806 tenantable dwellings were overcrowded, while 12,300 were under-utilised, the Daily Telegraph reports today.

A Roy Morgan Research survey of tenants found 64 per cent were satisfied with customer service in NSW, making it the lowest of all states.
