Nicky Buckley sells Bells Beach home

Model and TV presenter Nicky Buckley and her husband, Murray Bingham, who modelled alongside each other on Sale of the Century, have sold their Bells Beach home – almost a year after they put it on the market.

The estate at 205 Jarosite Road was asking $3 million just before being marked sold on April 26. It hit the market last year with price hopes of between $3.5 million and $3.7 million.

The home has been renovated several times.

On a 4.1 hectare block, with a tennis court, the property, built in 2000, initially as a holiday home, includes five bedrooms.

The pair moved in permanently in 2003 where it was where they raised three sons.

It has undergone two extensions and numerous refurbishments, according to realestate.com.au, which first reported the sale last month.

The block cost the media personalities $190,000 in 1996

The house is built in a Queenslander style.

The Bingham-Buckley family plan to build a new home on a 4200 square metre block in the BLVD Torquay Estate, for which they paid $900,000 last year.

The pair employed Torquay-based McCartney Real Estate’s Tim Carson and John McMahon to market 205 Jarosite Road, Bells Beach.
