Neighbours Actress Helps Sell Kew Home

The late Victorian theme suited the late Victorian home – which was built in 1910, and had been in the same family ever since.

Woodards Senior Auctioneer Andrew Ryan, who just happens to be Anne’s partner, conducted the Kent Street auction in his grey top hat and waistcoat – eventually selling it for close to $800,000. The home was quickly dubbed the worst house in one of Kew’s best streets, with opportunities in the ultra-flash pocket of Kew rarely becoming available for less than seven figures.

“The new owners plan to restore and extend the house and bring it up to the very high standard of like period homes in Kent Street,” said Mr Ryan. “They were delighted to be presented with an original 1910 photograph of the house when it was brand new.”
