Neighbour buys Dandenong South industrial site for $10 million

An owner-occupier has paid $10 million for an industrial property in Melbourne’s south-east.

The office-warehouse at 96-108 Greens Road, Dandenong South (pictured top and left), was marketed for sale or lease by Crabtrees Real Estate’s Grant Tishler.

It sold to a nearby occupier which plans to expand.

On a 1.64 hectare block, 96-108 Greens Road accommodates a 6591 square metre building containing 608 sqm of office space, a boardroom, showroom and 5983 sqm warehouse.

It also includes four container-height roller doors, a large canopy and concrete hardstand.

Mr Tishler told commercialview.com.au, which first reported the transaction, that it was a “fantastic result” indicative of the strength of Melbourne’s industrial market.

Two weeks ago we reported that Osprey Property Group paid $8.3 million for an industrial investment at 4 Healey Road, Dandenong South. On 1.8 hectares of land, with a 10,914 sqm office warehouse, this property was offloaded with a leaseback by the owner-occupier Aware Environment Group.

Last month we also reported that Vaughan Constructions had sold a purpose-built industrial investment within the suburb’s Hammond Business Park to Dex Collections. Upon completion, the 1.3 hectare land holding will contain a 4905 sqm office warehouse and 74-bay car park.

Crabtrees Real Estate also negotiated the Dex Collections deal.
