Masters Home Improvement opens first Australian store in Melbourne

Woolworths with US hardware giant Lowe’s launched the first of its highly-anticipated Masters Home Improvement outlets in Melbourne’s western suburbs last month.

The Braybrook store will eventually be one of around 150 Masters stores expected to open around the country within the next few years.

Woolworths is keen to take on market leader Bunnings, which is controlled by Wesfarmers – the owner of supermarket rival Coles.
