Major $900 Million Village Expected to be Developed on 26 Hectare Bradmill Factory Site, Yarraville

The project is expected to include more than 1000 dwellings, configured as apartments and houses, a library, pedestrian and bike paths, and a new road between Francis Street, and Fogarty Road. It will also include a new major shopping centre – capitalising on the site’s position near the Millers Road exit of the West Gate Freeway.
 
With a speculated end value of around $900 million, Yarraville Gardens Estate would rank as one of Melbourne’s biggest proposed suburban developments announced this year.
 
Walker Corporation is expected to build a $1 billion village on Amcor’s outgoing 17-hectare former Alphington paper mill site, in the inner north-east, while the Melbourne Racing Club is planning a $750 million mixed use village apartments, offices and shops, on the northern most part of the Caulfield Racecourse.
