MAB Corporation Executives Smudge Footprint in Bundoora Development

At an official launch ceremony held at the suburb’s new town centre at University Hill, foot plaques were made for Mr Madden, City of Whittlesea mayor Kris Pavlides and MAB founders Michael and Andrew Buxton.

MAB Corp bought the 104-hectare site, formerly the Janefield Hospital, off the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in June 2003, in a deal said to be worth around $21 million. It is redeveloping the site into the mixed-use University Hill project.

Mr Madden described the $1 billion development as “a beacon of what Melbourne 2030 stands to achieve.”
