Law firm Kalus Kenny Intelex has leased new headquarters at a low-rise Southbank office with unobstructed views of the Yarra River and Melbourne CBD.
The boutique firm has rented 930 square metres, being level one of 4 Riverside Quay – an investment held by Mirvac.
The space recently underwent a swank fit-out by Canopy Constructions, which the occupier hopes will offer “a transformational amenity for KKI’s growing workforce and future leaders”.
KKI was formerly headquartered at South Yarra’s Como Centre – an office until 2016 owned by Mirvac.
KKI founding partner Henry Kalus describes the move to 4 Riverside Quay as “the perfect fit, being a boutique version of the CBD, which is presently how the law firm is positioned”.
Mr Kalus said the firm’s strong relationship with Mirvac from its previous association with the Como Centre “triggered the opportunity for it to make the leap into the increasingly vibrant Southbank Riverside precinct”.
“We were blown away by the energy of Riverside Quay and immediately felt that our people would thrive there,” Mr Kalus said.
“The way we value our people, the way we work with our clients and our desire to set ourselves apart from other legal and business advisory firms has propelled us to this renewal,” the executive said.
“Riverside Quay is much more than a mere shift in headquarters.
“The move is about placing us in an environment that recognises who we are. We have been true to our values since that first day in 1993 but we are always moving forward and this is a natural next step.
The 4 Riverside Quay building is walking distance to Flinders Street train station, within Southbank’s dining precinct.
It is part of a complex of four low-rise offices with direct Yarra River frontage.
