Late Michael McGurk’s Cremorne home for sale

The Cremorne home outside of which businessman Michael McGurk was murdered in 2009 has been listed for sale.

Agents are expecting more than $4.75 million for the 1916 Californian.

It last traded for $1.65m in 2000.

Richardson & Wrench Mosman’s Robert Simeon told the Daily Telegraph: “There is no legal requirement for us to tell people about that [the history]”.

“It did not happen within the confines of the property – this is nothing like the [Sef] Gonzales case“.

On a 1683 square metre Cranbrook Avenue block with a tennis court, pool and trampoline, the home is being offloaded by family.

Funds will reportedly be used to prosecute Ron Medich, the property developer accused of co-ordinating the murder.
