Langhorne Creek Vineyard, South Australia, Sells For $6.2 Million

BULK wine producer Yellow Tail is reportedly the purchaser of a 310 hectare vineyard at Langhorne Creek in South Australia.

The producer is buying the asset for $6.2 million from Cheviot Kirribilly, which is being wound up, according to the AFR which reported the transaction. Cheviot has another 120 hectares of vineyards under offfer at Angus Creek in the Adelaide Hills for between $25,000 and $30,000 per hectare.

Two more vineyards in the Clare Valley will be sold next year, it is reported.
