Deague family sell Portsea home

Jonathan Deague, who manages the sales and leasing department of his family’s development business, reportedly handed over the keys to a Portsea property he had been marketing, despite the buyer paying only the deposit.

The new and never occupied Welbeck Avenue home, between Point King Jetty and Sorrento Golf Club, was set to be auctioned by Kay & Burton’s Liz Jensen.

It sold prior to the event; the agent saying the Deague family allowed the incoming owners immediate occupation even though only the deposit has come through.

“In fact the new owners held a New Years Eve party there,” she added.
