John Farnham sells Goornong property

John Farnham  has sold a 107-hectare property north of Melbourne.

Chance Lodge, on the Campaspe River in Goornong, is reported to have traded for about $2 million.

It includes a two level home with six bedrooms and four bathrooms.

An auction to sell contents is mooted for December 5.

The veteran entertainer acquired Chance Lodge in 1998.

Following the sale the Herald Sun reports he’ll spend more time at a coastal property in Queensland’s Port Douglas.

Former manager Glenn Wheatley recently sold a South Yarra mansion ahead of a permanent move interstate.
