Jeff Kennett Sells Richmond Office Building

Former Victorian premier Jeff Kennett, has sold a Richmond office building he bought in late 2000 with wife Felicity, and business partner, sports tournament promoter Tony Roosenburg.

The double-storey 484 Swan Street building sold at auction for $3.33million to an as-yet-undisclosed owner-occupier.

Mr Kennett paid $1.4million for the office in September 2000, occupying some of the upstairs level for his own business ventures, while leasing out the rest to tenants.

Teska Carson director Andrew Morley sold the property before a crowd of more than 150 on Thursday.

The 730-square-metre office building sits on a relatively large 1163-square-metre site, and offers redevelopment potential.
