Hub Australia leases fourth Melbourne premises at Dexus’ Ball and Welch

Hub Australia has leased its fourth Melbourne premises and eighth nationally.

The co-work office provider has committed to space on levels two, three and seven at Dexus’ Ball and Welch development – a 20,000 square metre project incorporating a historic building at 180 Flinders Street, and 189 Flinders Lane, due for completion in six months.

All up, Hub Australia’s 4400 square metre deal will accommodate about 750 members.

Office suites of varying sizes – the largest which can fit up to 200 people – are being incorporated.

Event spaces, meeting rooms, a café, and studios for exercise, photography and podcasts, will also form part of Hub Flinders Street.

Elsewhere in the city, Hub occupies space at the top of Charter Hall’s ICI House at 1 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne, completed in 1961 as Australia’s first international style skyscraper.

Hub also has local bases at the historic former Georges department store in Collins Street and at ex-Mail Exchange, at 696 Bourke Street, on the north east corner of Spencer Street, opposite Southern Cross station.
