Harry Triguboff’s Meriton Set to Receive Planninng Approval For 77-Level Brisbane CBD Tower

The 1,822 square metre property, currently an open air car park, is owned by Sydney-based high rise apartment developer Harry Triguboff’s development company Meriton, which paid $25 million for it in 2007. It’s reported Mr Triguboff sought a “code application” when submitting plans for the tower, meaning the project did not require public display or submissions

Brisbane councillor and neighbourhood planning chair Amanda Cooper told the AFR: “As one of the very few CBD skyscrapers [submitted] in the last year, it represents a significant boost both to the real estate industry and Brisbane’s economy if we approve it.”
