Georgie Gardner spends $6 million on home in Mosman’s Beauty Point

Today show co-host Georgie Gardner (pictured, left) has spent about $6 million on a contemporary home in Mosman.

The contemporary six-bedroom house (pictured top and bottom right) with four bathrooms and a 12.5 metre pool is within the Beauty Point pocket of the exclusive suburb.

On a 780 square metre parcel of land, the dwelling, with more than 500 square metres (or 54 squares) of internal area, has views of Middle Harbour, according to local paper The Mosman Daily which first reported the transaction.

It is configured with two self-contained apartments, an outdoor entertainment area with an integrated barbecue and two wine cellars with the capacity to store 2000 bottles.

“Georgie paid about $6 million,” a source told the paper. “She has been looking in Mosman. Karl Stefanovic [Gardner’s co-host] has been actively looking in Mosman too, so it looks like Georgie has won this round.

Selling agency Simeon Manners recorded the home as selling on October 5. It has been for sale since last year.

Last week, we reported that Ms Gardner and her husband, investment banker Tim Baker, pocketed $4.2 million selling an Artarmon home they bought in 2010 then renovated.
